Many modern bikes have fork preload adjusters as standard equipment, and these are ideal for easy setting up of front end sag. Whilst they don't change fork spring ratings and so don't compensate for mismatches between spring strength and (bike + rider) weight, they allow the front sag to be optimised, so reducing the risks of topping out or bottoming out, and improving overall tyre grip.

Several manufacturers make preload adjusters for Harleys with 39mm or 49mm forks, including Burly, Roland Sands and Speed Merchant. We can supply all these makes but we suggest the Burly adjusters for best value.
