This is the economy shock with the widest range of sizes and fittings. They are oil shocks with 5-position adjustable preload.
Like most economy shocks they have fairly strong springs. The shortest version (305mm) has a single spring approx 130lbs. All the longer sizes have twin springs, resulting in a progressive action as the shock is compressed.
Available at 325mm, 335mm and 365mm with ring type end fittings; and 325mm, 335mm and 365mm with a lower fork fitting. Top bushes will take Honda 16mm mounting pins with a little persuasion.

These shocks fit a wide range of bikes including Suzuki GT250-750, many 70's,80's,90's Japanese 250-750's ,Kawasaki Z's,CB's XS's,XJ's, ER5 etc. Also available for BMW, Italian and British fittings.

Supplied with C-spanner and bushes.

Mainly available in either chrome or black, but please note that the 325mm with fork fittings are only in chrome.

BR2163 is a 320mm shock with rod cover, designed to fit classic 70s bikes like RD250 / RD400. Slimline (54 mm dia) shocks available with chrome or black springs. It has progressive springs (approx 90/150 lbs), 5-position preload adjuster, & 12mm bushes top and bottom. Or BR2162 with black springs is a little cheaper. Also available is BR2176, which is a longer (345mm) version of BR2163.

EMGO classic shocks, with black dampers and chrome straight-cut springs, are very popular with classic british bike owners. They are made with imperial bushes, but we can fit metric bushes to suit your bike. Sizes are 302, 315, 328 & 340mm with a choice of spring ratings.

BR2158 is a slimline 310mm shock (spring dia 47mm) suitable for bikes up to 175cc. The springs are medium weight and lightly progressive.

BR2020 is a short shock at 280mm. It has adjustable preload, with straight rather than progressive springs, approx 105 lbs.

BR2190 are 325mm long accurate reproductions of shocks fitted to Kawasaki H2 750cc (1971-75) and H1 500cc (1969-76). Supplied with grey sleeves inside the spring to protect the damper rod. Bushes are 14mm top and 10mm bottom. Preload adjustable.

BR2192 are 302mm long, as fitted to the following Suzuki models :- T500 (1970-75),GT500 (1975-77), GT380 (1972-77),GT550 (1972-77), GT750 (1972-77) (although note that some OEM shocks had short top covers). Bushes are 12mm top & bottom. Preload adjustable. Spring is 132 lbs and available travel is 79mm.

These lightweight shocks are generally suitable for bikes up to around 175cc.

The BR2021 shocks are about the shortest shocks we have, at 265mm between centres, with 12mm bushes and adjustable preload. Also available in black.

BR2165 are 325mm long, designed to fit Honda CG125 (1985 on) and non-adjustable.

BR2169 are 335mm long with 14mm top bushes and 10mm bottom bushes, adjustable preload, and quite firm springs.

Of the shocks with shorter top caps: BR2019 are 320mm and have the lower fork fitting with 8mm hole, which suits small Yamaha's e.g.RD125-200 and many Hondas up to 250cc. Some people have stripped these shocks and used the dampers to rebuild sixties Honda shocks, e.g. CB 160.

BR2018 are similar shocks but with 12mm ring-type mountings at both ends, and also fit many bikes up to 250cc. These two shocks have adjustable preload, and both are also available in black.

BR2140 are 310mm long, with adjustable preload, 12mm bushes, and fairly soft springs

We can generally change bushes on all these shocks to suit your bike.

Most of these shocks have adjustable preload, a suitable c-spanner is £3.

There are not too many fully covered slimline shocks available.

BR2133 is 280mm between centres. It is an ideal replacement shock for FS1-E's, with 12mm top and 10mm bottom bushes,

BR2137 is a similar shock at 285mm length, but with lower fork mounting drilled to take 8mm bolts.

Both are generally suitable for fairly lightweight bikes, up to 175cc.

B2030 on the right are 335 mm between centres, and designed to fit onto Honda Cubs (C50, C70 & C90). They are also available with black top covers.

All these shocks are non-adjustable.
